The 3rd annual Big Buzz Bass Tournament is set for Saturday, July 14. This event invites bass fisherman across Arkansas to compete in a multi-pool tournament on the Arkansas River. Anglers can launch their boat and cast their lines at 6am but must have their 5 fish checked in by 3PM on the Verizon Boat Ramp in North Little Rock.

Please note: The length for largemouth bass will be 14” and spotted (Kentucky) bass will be 12”.

New this year - Multi-Pool Event!

With the outstanding participation we have had the last two years, there has become a necessity to make some changes to allow this tournament to grow. New this year, teams may launch anywhere in pools 4 - 8 of the Arkansas River. The boundaries will be as follows: From the downriver side of the Ormond Lock & Dam (pool 8; Morrilton) to the upriver side of Sanders Lock & Dam (pool 4; Pine Bluff). This will give teams a total of 5 pools of the river to fish.

On the morning of the tournament, teams may not be on the water from 12am - 4:30am. Teams must wait until 6am to make a cast. 103.7 The Buzz will have an official sounder at 6am telling fishermen to “cast their lines.”

For weigh-in, teams must be checked in by 3pm at the check in site at the Verizon Boat Ramp in North Little Rock. Teams that fail to check in by 3pm will be disqualified from the tournament. No exceptions. The check in site will be under the metal awning next to the boat ramp and will be clearly marked as “Check In.” Teams may arrive at the weigh in site by water or by trailer.
